I was contacted by a housing provider that offered to assist with making my FSTEC hotel reservation. What should I do?

Answer

Warning from FSTEC of potential “poachers”: FSTEC does not release any contact lists to anyone except official show vendors. If you are contacted by any vendor, always ask them to send you details in writing and check our official event website to make sure they are show sponsors/vendors. If you are contacted by a non-official vendor, or are unsure, please provide us with the details regarding these calls or emails. We will follow up aggressively with them. This includes outside companies offering hotel rooms, listings in show directories, lists of attendees/contacts, as well as more standard items for your booth such as A/V or internet.

Be vigilant if approached by any company representing themselves as the housing provider for FSTEC since entering into financial agreements with non-endorsed companies can have costly consequences.

We have been made aware that the following companies have reached out to attendees: Convention Housing Planners Corp, Expo Housing Services and Exhibitors Housing Management. Please let us know if any of these or another company reaches out to you.

How do I register for the conference events?

Answer

General sessions, meals and receptions do not require pre-registration. Details on selecting the innovation forums that you would like to attend will be provided four weeks prior to the conference.

Is there wireless internet in the meeting space?

Answer

Complimentary wireless internet will be provided throughout the meeting space. Login details will be provided at the conference registration desk.

What is the conference attire?

The conference attire is business casual.

If I didn't pre-register can I register on location?

Answer

Yes you may register on location, however, we ask that you abide by our On-Site Registration Policy. This policy states that an attendee is required to present a Valid ID (no photo copies or digital IDs) and Business Card ( stating Name, Title, Company, and Address) in order to register on location at any Informa Event. The Business Card will be validated and collected at time of registration.
