Michigan State University, The School of Hospitality Business

In 1927, the seed was sown for The School of Hospitality Business at Michigan State University—an industry-specific school within the Broad College of Business that has launched the careers of thousands of leaders in hospitality and service professions and transformed the landscape of hospitality education. Hailed as the original hospitality business school and ranked among the top hospitality programs in the nation, The School celebrates eight decades of attracting the best and the brightest.

 

Penn State University, School of Hospitality Management

The Penn State School of Hospitality Management is home of one of the most prestigious and well-respected programs of its kind in the nation. By combining a broad educational foundation with “real-world experiences” and other opportunities for students to hone their leadership, business, and communication skills, the School of Hospitality Management and its predecessor programs have equipped students and alumni with the skills they need to become the leaders of their chosen professions for nearly seventy years.

 

University of Delaware, Department of Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management

Consistently ranked in the top ten hospitality programs, the Department of Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management (HRIM) is a four year major with a curriculum based in liberal arts, business and specialized courses for the hospitality industry. The HRIM department offers the undergraduate degree on campus as well as at a distance. HRIM also offers a 4+1+1 program, in conjunction with the Lerner College of Business and Economics that enables students to complete their undergraduate work and obtain an MBA in five years of study.

 

UNLV, William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration

The William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration is consistently ranked as one of the country’s top two college hospitality programs, and it’s not hard to see why. Our faculty members have written more than 30 textbooks that are used in hospitality programs all over the world. Our students benefit from having professors with strong industry as well as academic credentials. We attract students from around the country and all over the globe – more than 2,800 are enrolled in one of our 15 programs that range from bachelor to doctorate degrees. Fully twenty-five percent of our majors come from outside the United States. The college’s recent addition of a Singapore campus, which enrolls 450 Pacific Rim students, makes our reach truly worldwide. The research institutes, centers, journals and data collections of the College of Hotel Administration make it a trusted resource of hospitality and gaming information that people and governments draw on as they research the best policies and practices for their states, tribal nations, or countries.

 

University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee, School of Hotel and Restaurant Management

The University of South Florida’s Sarasota-Manatee campus is located on the scenic west coast of Florida. The sun-soaked Gulf of Mexico beaches make the area a tourist haven. To support the tourism industry in the area, USF Sarasota-Manatee offers a Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. We also offer a Bachelor of Science in Applied Science with an emphasis in Hospitality Management (BSAS). We have two certificate programs: one in Hotel Management and one in Restaurant Management, as well as two minor programs: one in Hotel Management and one in Restaurant Management. The School of Hotel and Restaurant Management is the first School located off of the main USF Tampa campus and the first hospitality school on the west coast of Florida.
