About Us

FSTEC was co-founded in 1996 through a partnership between Robert Grimes and Nation’s Restaurant News and quickly became the largest show of its kind. Hostec Events, which has put on foodservice and hospitality technology events around the world since 1999 and is owned by Grimes, acquired full ownership of FSTEC in 2011.

Hostec Events has revamped the show to focus more on education and networking, moving FSTEC into a hotel resort setting in the process.

In addition to FSTEC, Hostec hosts regional TechVents and global shows including Hostec Europe and Hostec Asia.
